Funding Opportunities
Grant window is currently closed and set to open in the Fall of 2024 for 2025 funding.
To apply for a United Way of Northern New Mexico (UWNNM) grant, organizations must meet all of the following criteria:
Certified Non-profit 501(c) (3) in good standing with the IRS.
Serving Los Alamos and/or Rio Arriba County residents in following impact areas:
Education/youth mentorship
Behavioral health/parental supports
Food/housing
Senior transportation
San Martin de Porres Soup Kitchen

In 2023, twenty five passionate non-profits serving residents in Los Alamos and Rio Arriba counties were funded for services in 2024.
Together, we are addressing crucial needs across our communities. From nurturing families with little ones, to sparking the curiosity of adventurous young minds through groundbreaking educational experiences, and even surprising our cherished seniors with unexpected delights – our devoted partners have become the catalysts for positive change, leaving an indelible mark on countless lives!
