Community Action Fund Grant


All applicants are required to have or create an account to complete and submit your application.  Keep your user name and password handy so that you can "save a draft" and return to complete your submission.  Also this user name and password will continue to be used for agency reporting and future applications.

To apply for a United Way of Northern New Mexico (UWNNM) grant, organizations must meet all of the following criteria:

Certified Non-profit 501(c) (3) in good standing with the IRS.

In or serving Los Alamos and/or Rio Arriba County residents

Serving in the areas of

  • Education/youth mentorship
  • Behavioral health/parental supports
  • Food/housing
  • Senior transportation 

United Way of Northern New Mexico (UWNNM) will give competitive priority to applicants working toward collective impact through intentional collaboration and identified partners (United Way Partners, Federal, State and/or Local Governments, Tribal Governments, other non-profit or philanthropic organizations.)

Once logged in you will be able to save a draft and return to complete it when you are ready.

Best practice in building your application -  Use your personal word processing software to fill in answers and when complete, copy/paste into our online portal. This ensures you have a back up if something goes awry while completing online form.
