Secret Problems in Los Alamos

BHyoutubeScreenshot100+ Women Who Care is a powerful group wanting to have a positive impact on those in need here in the Los Alamos area.  Their mission is to reach out and help our community by collecting contributions for local non profits. Funds raised during this first set of events are going towards the Behavior Health Awareness Campaign creating awareness while working towards “normalizing” behavioral health issues and the stigma associated with treating them. A survey of the 100+ Women Who  Care – Los Alamos was asked, “What topics would you most like to learn about or discuss in this group?”  Over half of the members who voted selected behavioral health.  PAC-8 has assisted in the creation of this commercial and we are currently working to grant out funds to non-profits in Los Alamos with programs providing mental and behavioral health services.

It’s normal to have problems you need to talk to someone about.  You are not alone.  Call 2-1-1 or 855.662.6211 to find resources for you or a friend to talk with.

If you or someone you know is going through a crisis call 1(855) NMCRISIS (662-7474) for assistance 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
