Days of alarm-free waking up and countless hours of doing what you want to do is the part of retirement we are all looking forward to. For some of us, those days are just around the corner. Are you financial and mentally ready for this new way of life? United Way of Northern New Mexico (UWNNM) and The Foundation for Financial Wellness, a non-profit hosted a small group of community members on Thursday, July 23rd, 2015 to discuss, ‘Forecasting for Life After Work.’ This workshop helped individuals headed to retirement verify their income needs, sources of income, and calculate their gap.

Don Cobb, UWNNM Board Member, spoke briefly about his volunteering experiences after retirement, not only with UWNNM but also the Los Alamos National Laboratory Foundation.
