The 2015 Community Action Fund Grant process began March 16th with the release of the Request for Proposals. The Community Action Fund aims at tackling the most pressing challenges in Los Alamos and Rio Arriba Counties. United Way of Northern New Mexico (UWNNM) kicked off the Community Action Fund Grant Process at the Annual Meeting Tuesday, March 17th. United Way of Northern New Mexico funds 501 (c) 3 nonprofits in the areas of education, financial stability, and health in Los Alamos and Rio Arriba Counties. If you are a nonprofit working in these areas you are encouraged to attend the annual meeting to learn more about the grant process and more specifics on the needs of the community.
